Our Pride of Workmanship was held on Monday June 19th The Pride of Workmanship Award is designed to acknowledge an employee, irrespective of age or vocation, who, in the eyes of his or her employer, displays outstanding qualities in terms of approach, attitude, dedication and commitment, to his or her job.
Andrew Gasson
 
Andrew has been involved as a volunteer minister for 10 years.
Andrew has been working in Eugowra since 2002 assisting flood victims
with cleaning, floor and roof repairs, fencing and generalrepairs in the
area. He also continues working at Eugowra every two weeks continuing
his assistance. Lismore suffered severe flooding and Andrew has assisted
there.
2019 saw horrendous bush fires in Australia. Andrew assisated for 3
months working night and day, packing food, washing 1000’s of Eskys
every night so that food could be packed by volunteers to distribute to SES
and bushfire victims.
For many months Andrew has helped TURBAN 4 packing food to
distribute to the those in need for many months. Assisting with road
service, food delivery, house repairs, barbques and helping trauma related
victims.
2017 saw Florida devastated by Hurricane URMA. Andrew was there,
assisting barricading windows and doors evacuating people from their
houses into evacuation sites and running the evacuation site.
 
DINA GIORELANDO
 
Dina is a kind, warm and giving person. She has been a
long standing contractor for Eurella. She always strives
for excellence. Dina is self motivated and all work is
completed to a high standard. A valued member and asset
of Eurella. Someone who always brightens our days
 
Tim Graham
 
Tim has distributed “Drug Free World” booklets in
Lismore, Banora Point area in Tweed Heads, organised
distribution of 12,000 books in Auburn and additional
booklets at Auburn railway station. Organised a stall and
distribution of booklets at Paddington Markets.
Tim has worked with Peter Driscoll planning and
executing a golf event collaborating between
Woolloomooloo PCYC and Drug Free World donating
$30,000 to the PCYC.
Essentially Tim runs a drug free world.
 
Elizabeth Lugovoy
 
In all aspects of her employment Elizabeth strives for
excellence. Her warmth and positive attitude inspires both
service users and her c0-workers.
 
 
Frances Miano
 
Frances has been a dedicated and exemplary employee at
Eurella packaging and assembly for many years. Frances
takes enormous pride in her work at Eurella and will often
assist in mentoring others in the workplace by sharing her
skills and knowledge. Frances is an asset to Eurella
Community Services.
 
Sarah Morris
 
Apart from being a mother and wife Sarah’s life experience and purpose
defines her as an Earth Angel Warrior, a selfless soul. Sarah co-founded a
charity called Acts of Kindness Outreach who support the homeless and
struggling communities by consistently showing those in need they are
worthy of support and love.
Sarah is an inspiration. She has been recognised and awarded Pittwater
“Women of the Year” in 2022 and for an award for Outstanding
Community Service 2023 for her work with AOK on the northern beaches.
From helping the homeless, struggling families, neighbours, friends and
schools. Sarah’s team at AOK, Earth Angel Volunteers continue to create
beautiful safe spaces for all the community to connect and feel loved.
 
 
Gabrielle Muldoon 
 
Gabrielle is a compassionate, patient staff member who
demonstrates empathy and understanding towards
persons of all ages. Her sense of humour brings adventure
and excitement to all client interaction.
 
Andrea Neville
 
Andrea has been doing her own radio show on Koori Radio 93.7 f.m.
for 5 years. It’s called Deadly Human Rights and it is a weekly
community show.
Andrea promotes the Universal Declaration of Rights which is a
weekly community radio show and the UN Declaration of the Rights
of Indigenous Peoples in NSW and the ACT.
People from the community are invited to come on the show and talk
about the great activities they do to help others. This includes
helping families, friends, social justice issues, sports, business, arts,
religion and culture.
 
Michelle Parker
 
Michelle is the business co-0rdinator For Main Curtains. Main Curtains
manufacture all the drapery requirements for Mansours from residential
to apartment developments and commercial projects.
Michelle is the voice that greets us, sorts out our issues and gets things done
promptly and effectively.
We appreciate the consistent effort that Michelle goes to, to ensure that our
curtains and accessories are manufactured in a timely manner.
Over recent times, supply chains have been inconsistent and when there is
a timeline that must be met, Michelle ensures that our clients are looked
after. The Pride Of Workmanship Award is our way of thanking Michelle
for her consistent efforts.
The simple line “Do it once, do it well” certainly applies to Michelle.
 
 
Jessica Pelligrino 
 
Jessica has recently been promoted to Senior Support
Manager within the Eurella Links programme, supporting
adults with multiple disabilities. Jessica goes above and
beyond ensuring that the clients she supports are cared for
to a very high standard.
Jessica is developing exceptional leadership skill and is a
valuable asset to Eurella Community services.
 
 
 
Phillip Salhab 
 
 
Phillip is a generous person in not in only what he gives from his business
but also his own personal time. He is constantly looking at ways of
supporting the community.
Energy, optimism and altruism are works that come to mind when
describing Phillip.
He is a truly great ambassador for his community and business.
