Brief history of the club charter 4th July 1939
Many fund raising events and overseas donations for many years. POW is an ongoing event of RC Burwood. The first mention in our minutes was 1980
Congratulations to all our Awardees tonight.
Pres John Mansour Pride of Workmanship is about excellence in the work place. The two major events we run that have a special place in RC Burwood is OW and Primary Awards (PRISCA)
Pres John introduced the Raffle. Thanked those donating prizes
Sick and absent members PDG Lloyd Roever is not doing well A minute silence was held.
Awardee from Eurella and in particular it is Jessica Pelligrino's birthday.
Dennise Herrick presented the awards .
Patricia Abraham acknowledged traditional owners.
She thanked Rotary for hosting this event . Eurella has participated in this event for many years, Eurella has been serving the local area for seventy years, Thanked management and staff, who help a whole range of people, offer whole of life care and are a community. Gabrielle Muldoon was absent and her award accepted by Patricia Abraham,
Patricia thanked Phillip from Appetite cafe for helping Eurella many times. Appetite Cafe is in Five Dock
Sarah Morris started Outreach during COVID. After six weeks offered 20 meals and started to feed the homeless. Originally knocked back but persisted and for the past two years expanded to 200 meals a week. They get food from various places. They turn up in Wooloomooloo and feed the homeless people and in effect are helping people who in turn help themselves.

Vale PDG Lloyd Roever
With great sadness our friend Lloyd passed away this week after a short illness. Lloyd was a long standing member of the club having joined Rotary in 1972. We pass on out sincere condolences to Christine and family. Full report of Lloyd's contribution to Rotary in the next issue
