District Changeover
Greetings from Renga
As we approach the conclusion of an extraordinary Rotary year, I warmly invite you and your family to join us at our Annual District Changeover Celebration.
This special occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on our collective achievements, celebrate the impact we have made in our communities and around the world, and express gratitude to the many Rotarians whose dedication and service have made this year successful. These accomplishments belong to every member of our district, and they deserve to be celebrated.
The Changeover will also mark the formal handover of leadership as I pass the District Governor's collar to our Incoming District Governor, Shane. I am confident that under Shane's leadership, our district will continue to grow, innovate, and create lasting change.
I encourage every Rotarian to register early and be part of this memorable celebration. Your presence will make the occasion even more meaningful as we honour the past year and embrace the opportunities ahead.
Thank you for your friendship, support, and commitment throughout this remarkable journey.
Date: Sunday 28th June 2026
Time: 12.00noon
Venue: Bankstown Sports Club
I look forward to celebrating with you.
Message from Perseus from the Phillipines preparing for his Presidential Year
Remember Perseus whom we met earlier this year helping us at one of our Sausage Sizzles. He is the Incoming President and sent us this message.
As for my incoming presidential year, I’m in the thick of final preparations. April to June is our transition period, and I’m glad to say our leadership formation is well underway. We’ve completed our learning seminars, capped off by the Club Leadership Learning Seminar.
I’ve been focusing heavily on relationships. I’m taking each of my board of directors, officers, members, and stakeholders - including leaders of our chartered Interact, Rotaract, and RCC out to meals individually, just to have genuine, personal conversations. The things that come up have been wonderful surprises. Hope to finish my roster of members before July. Here are some of photos:
