Thank you so much for your call today and your very kind offer for Burwood Rotary to support Blue and Yellow Hearts. We are a charity clothing and essential items drive organised to help Ukrainian displaced people arriving in Sydney, Australia. We are set up in the Church Hall of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 108 Arthur St. corner of Mitchell Rd, Strathfield West.
Our needs change regularly. As we approach winter and cooler weather we will soon start to collect the following items:
Winter pyjamas, dressing gowns, slippers mainly for children (sizes 3-12) teenagers (sizes 14-18), women (sizes 10-18)
Hoodies/long sleeve tees for women (sizes 10-18) , and children (sizes 3- 16)
New sneakers for women sizes 7 (EU38), 8 (EU39) 9 (EU40) 10 (EU41)
New sneakers for children sizes 11 (EU28) 12 (EU30) 13 (EU31) 1 (32) 2(EU33) 3 (EU34) 4 (EU35), 5 (EU36)
Also needed are:
Compact umbrellas
New bed linen such as fitted sheets, quilt covers and pillow cases for Single, Double and Queen.
New quilts, doonas, comforter sets, blankets
Children’s and high school student backpacks, lunch boxes and drink bottles
Barbie dolls
Please note: NO second hand items in general or new baby items/clothes are needed for ages 0 to 3.
